About Lonavala

Explore Lonavala

Lonavla and Khandala are two beautiful hill stations of Maharashtra located 104km’s from Mumbai and 66km’s from Pune. Both lonavla and khandala are 5km’s apart from each other located on the western slopes of the Sahyadri’s. Lonavla is located at an altitude of 625 meters, while khandala is at a bit lower altitude. Karla

Karla caves are at 12 km’s from Lonavla, it is the place of largest Chaitya caves (prayer halls) of India built in 80B.C. The caves have best-preserved Buddhist temples in India.

Rajamachi Fort:
